Warranty Coverage:

Structural Warranty: Every Easycarport product comes with a comprehensive structural warranty. This warranty is substantially reduced if the carport is located within 10 kilometers of the coastline, measured in a straight line.

Standard Portable Carports: These products come with a 5-Year Limited Warranty.*

Engineer-Certified Carports: These products are covered under a 20-Year Limited Warranty.

 

Warranty Exclusions:

1. Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, including weathering, chalking, and fading of the sheeting, is not covered.
2. Accidents and Misuse: Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper assembly is excluded.
3. Maintenance and Ownership Changes: Damage due to lack of maintenance or change of ownership is not covered.
4. Environmental Factors: The warranty is significantly reduced if the carport is installed near saltwater or in areas prone to cyclones or other severe weather conditions.

 

Specific Damages Not Covered:

• Damage sustained during transport, handling, storage, or erection, including mechanical, chemical, or corrosion damage.
• Damage from exposure to chemical agents, fumes, liquids (including weedkillers), or solids other than direct rain.
• Contact with materials such as concrete, mortar, bitumen, soils, ashes, fertilizers, or other moisture-retaining substances.

 

Maintenance Requirements:

1. General Maintenance: Carports require minimal maintenance, including occasional cleaning and inspection for structural and roofing damage.
2. Warranty and Maintenance: Neglecting maintenance can damage the carport and reduce its lifespan. The warranty may be voided if recommended maintenance is not performed.

 

Warranty Claims Procedure

To make a warranty claim, consumers must:

1. Written Notice: Contact Easycarport in writing, detailing the nature of the defect or damage.
2. Proof of Purchase: Retain and present proof of purchase for any warranty claims.
3. Installation Compliance: Ensure the product is installed in accordance with Easycarport’s published installation guidelines. Proper anchoring, especially with concrete fixings, is essential.
4. Location Compliance: Ensure the installation site is more than 10 kilometers from marine or industrial environments.

 

Limitations of Liability

Under this warranty, Easycarport does not cover:

1. The cost of replacing the product.
2. The cost of obtaining an equivalent product.
3. The cost of repairing the product.
