Easycarport Structural Warranty and Maintenance Policy

Warranty Coverage:

Standard Portable Carports (Wrapped Roof and Vertical Roof Carports):

  • Wrapped Roof Carports: 1-Year Limited Warranty*
  • Vertical Roof Carports: 5-Year Limited Warranty

Engineer-Certified Carports (if explicitly marked): 15-Year Limited Warranty

All Easycarport products come with a comprehensive structural warranty, with the warranty period varying depending on the specific product as listed above.

Note: Warranty coverage is significantly reduced if the carport is located within 10 kilometers of the coastline, measured in a straight line.

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Normal Wear and Tear:
Weathering, chalking, and fading of the sheeting due to normal wear and tear are not covered by the warranty.

  • Accidents and Misuse:
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper assembly, or failure to follow the installation instructions is excluded.

  • Maintenance and Ownership Changes:
Damage resulting from lack of maintenance or changes in ownership is not covered.

  • Environmental Factors:
The warranty is significantly reduced if the carport is installed near saltwater or in areas prone to cyclones or severe weather conditions.

  • Improper Storage After Delivery:
Failure to store the product in a dry, ventilated, and rain-free area after delivery may void the warranty.

Damage to the sheeting which may render the warranty void include:

  • Mechanical, Chemical, or Corrosion Damage:
Any damage sustained during transport, handling, storage, erection, or after erection.

  • Chemical Exposure:
Damage caused by chemical agents, fumes, liquids (including weedkillers), or solids (other than direct rain) coming into contact with the product.

  • Contact with Harmful Substances:
Damage caused by contact with materials such as concrete, mortar, bitumen, soils, ashes, fertilizers, or moisture-retaining substances.

Maintenance Requirements:

  • General Maintenance:
Carports require minimal maintenance, such as occasional cleaning and inspection for structural and roofing damage.

  • Warranty and Maintenance:
Neglecting recommended maintenance may damage the carport and reduce its lifespan. Failure to perform proper maintenance may void the warranty.
